Parking is free and on-site. Guests can be dropped off by the sidewalk leading to the Interpretive Center. The Center is air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Visitors are encouraged to dress weather appropriate for the tour of the outdoor Village.

SunWatch offers five age appropriate guided tours designed to compliment classroom and Home School curriculum guidelines. Each tour provides students with an interesting and unique educational experience. Appropriate supervision is required for student groups.

Handicap Accessibility

SunWatch’s Interpretive Center is wheel chair friendly. A gently sloping, wide ramp leads from the parking lot to the front entrance of the Center. The facility is equipped with twenty stairs with handrails and a handicap lift to the second floor. Ramps lead from the Center down the Village Grounds so that all visitors can enjoy every inch of the SunWatch experience.

There are Women’s and Men’s restrooms on the main level and the 2nd floor of the Center. Each has three stalls of which one in each is handicap accessible.

Dayton offers many other attractions in addition to SunWatch Indian Village/ Archaeological Park. In close proximity is SunWatch’s  sister organization, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery (www.boonshoftmuseum.org), Carillon Historical Park, Dayton Art Institute,  the Miamisburg Mound, the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, America’s Packard Museum, the National Aviation Hall of Fame, the Dayton International Peace Museum, and the Korean War Memorial.
